| The Caloosahatchee is very different from the St. Lucie canal. There are a lot of hyacinth and water lettuce that can clog a raw water intake, prop or rudder. The Casuarina tree is being killed off by the Corps. I don't know much about it, but I'd rather they kill off the alligators. |
